Homework Expectations and Help
Homework is designed to extend practice of the concepts and skills presented in class. At this grade level, students are to expected to spend about 50 minutes per night on homework. Approximately 20 minutes per night should be spent on math and the remaining time should be spent reading or working on other assigned homework.
To help, please provide a quiet area for your child to work in, specific times for them to finish their work, and help them with interpreting the directions.
